surfing capitol and a good many champion surfers grew up and
perfected their style here in the waves of Cocoa Beach, even though
this surf is not as large or as famous as Hawaii or some of the
other famous surfing locations. Cocoa Beach like most Oceanside
towns in Florida, it has a pier, but the one in Cocoa is special.
First, it stretches over eight hundred feet into the Atlantic Ocean
and is designated a historical landmark. Second, the Cocoa pier has
quite an assortment of restaurants, boutiques, and gift shops for
your dining and shopping pleasure. Third, if you enjoy fishing but
you don’t want to go out in a boat try it from the Cocoa pier,
fishing is a great way to spend an afternoon and besides you will
probably meet some nice people and end the day with some new friends
even if the fish aren’t biting. |
